Recording Billable Services for Residents – Overview

When should this feature be used?

Use these features when residents receive services or products (e.g. transport services, haircuts) that need to be billed. These items must be configured in the product catalog beforehand.

Available Service Entry Methods

Edelion provides three different ways to add services to billing. Depending on the situation, you can choose the workflow that best fits your needs.

1. Add Service from Catalog

Select one or more services from the catalog, add them to the basket, and assign them to a resident.

Best suited for:

• Adding multiple services at once for a single resident

• Working from a service-oriented perspective

Record services directly within a resident’s profile.

Best suited for:

• Working on a specific resident

• Recording services during daily care activities

Record services centrally by selecting both resident and service in one view.

• Managing entries centrally

• Working with an overview list

Choosing the Right Workflow

All three methods lead to the same result. Choose the workflow that best fits your way of working:

• Start from the Billing → Catalog

• Start from the Residents → Resident profile

• Work from an Billing → Services overview

Permissions for Service Entry

To record services, the required permissions must be enabled for the user role. If you do not have access to one of the workflows described above, please check the assigned permissions or contact your local administrator..
